At heart both a storyteller and a problem solver, I try to make sense of the world through my photo, video, and design work. Because strategy drives everything I do, I am perpetually asking questions and challenging assumptions.

My friends will tell you that my notable interests are maps, trains, aviation, film cameras, analog audio, Lake Michigan, biking, hiking, cooking, and eating. My career has included time in Hollywood working on film sets, six years on the communications team at a Chicago urban planning organization, and six years on the marketing team of an engineering company.

I have lived and worked in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Spain. I am now lucky to call Northern Michigan home.
